Coronavirus: 30,256 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, 295 deaths

According to the latest data of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 30,256 new cases were found in the country in the last 24 hours.

New Delhi: Amidst the fear of a third wave of corona in the country, new cases are currently around 30 thousand for the past few days. According to the latest data of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 30,256 new cases were found in the country in the last 24 hours.

Corona latest Update:

During this, 295 people have died due to corona. At the same time, 43,938 people recovered and returned home in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of patients currently undergoing treatment in the country is 3,18,181 while the number of people who have recovered and returned home has gone up to 3,27,15,105. At the same time, 4,45,133 people have died due to corona so far.


The Health Ministry said that after the new cases were found, there was a decrease of 13, 977 cases in the active cases of corona. According to the ministry, the total number of corona cases in the country has now reached 3,34,78,419.

The highest number of corona cases have been reported in Kerala. Out of the total 30,256 cases of corona that came in the last one day, about 20 thousand cases have come from Kerala alone. In the last 24 hours, 19,653 cases of corona have been reported in Kerala. During this 152 people have died. Particularly stringent lockdown restrictions will be implemented in areas of Kerala where the spread of corona virus infection is high. The state government gave this information on Sunday. In an order issued by Chief Secretary V P Jaye, it was said that in areas where the 'Weekly Infection Population Ratio' (WIPR) is more than 10, strict restrictions will be applicable.

Talking about vaccination, 37,78,29 doses were given on Sunday. Till now 80 crore 85 lakh 68 thousand 144 people have got the vaccine. On the other hand, according to ICMR, 11 lakh 77 thousand 607 samples were tested on Sunday. According to ICMR, 55 crore 36 lakh 21 thousand 766 samples have been tested so far.
