Coronavirus: India sees 27176 new COVID-19 cases, 284 deaths

New Delhi: The number of new corona patients in the country for 80 consecutive days is less than 50 thousand. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday morning, 27,176 new corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

At the same time, 284 corona infected people lost their lives in the last 24 hours. 38,012 people have also been cured of corona i.e. 11,120 active cases have been reduced.

Infection in Kerala:

After 15,876 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Kerala on Tuesday, the total number of infected people increased to 44,06,365. During the first week of September, about 30 thousand or more cases of infection were being reported daily in the state, but after that the infection has decreased. In the last 24 hours, 129 patients have died, after which the total number of dead has increased to 22,779.

Corona infection in India:

A total of three crore 33 lakh 16 thousand people have been infected since the beginning of the corona epidemic. Out of these, 4 lakh 43 thousand 497 people have died. The good thing is that so far 3 crore 25 lakh 22 thousand people have been cured. The number of corona active cases in the country is less than four lakhs. A total of 3 lakh 51 thousand 087 people are still infected with the corona virus, who are undergoing treatment.

The Union Health Ministry said, till September 14, 75 crore 89 lakh 12 thousand doses of corona vaccine have been given across the country. 61.15 lakh vaccines were administered on the last day. At the same time, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 54.60 crore corona tests have been done so far. About 16 lakh 10 thousand corona sample tests were done on the last day. The death rate from corona in the country is 1.33 percent while the recovery rate is 97.62 percent. Active cases are 109%.
