Corona Updates: India reports 23,068 new COVID cases in a day

New Delhi: The daily cases of corona virus continue with a series of ups and downs. There is a slight decline in daily affairs on Friday as compared to Thursday. On Thursday, where 24,712 people were affected by the virus. On Friday, 23,068 patients have been infected with covid-19.

At the same time, 336 people have died of this disease during this period, after which the number of corona dead has increased to 1,47,092.

According to the data of the ministry, the number of patients who have been de-infected from corona in the country has increased to more than 97 lakhs. In the last 24 hours, 24,661 patients have defeated the virus and returned home from the hospital after treatment. At present, the number of patients getting relieved from corona is 97,17,834.

According to statistics, the number of active cases in the country remains less than three lakhs, it is being recorded continuously. The number of active cases currently stands at 2,81,919. The difference between the number of active cases of corona and the number of outpatients is quite large. Which shows that the fight against the virus is going in the right direction in the country.

In India, the number of infected people had crossed 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August and 40 lakh on 5 September. At the same time, the total cases crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November and one crore on 19 December.
