Corona Updates: India reports 12,286 new COVID19 cases

New Delhi: As many as 12,286 new cases were reported on Tuesday in the second phase of vaccination campaign against Corona virus in the country. After which the total number of infected in the country has crossed 10 million. Out of these, more than 17 million people have become infection free. While a total of 1,48,54,136 people have been vaccinated with the corona virus.

12,286 new cases of covid-19:

According to data released by the Ministry of Health, the total number of positive cases in India in the last 24 hours after the arrival of 12,286 new cases of covid-19, was 1,11,24,527. After 91 new deaths, the total number of deaths has increased to 1,57,248. The total number of active cases in the country now stands at 1,68,358.

Corona Updates in India:

According to the data, with a total of 1,07,98,921 people becoming infection free, the recovery rate of patients in the country has increased to 97.07 percent. At the same time, the death rate of corona virus has been 1.41 percent. In the country, the total cases of infection on September 16 last year crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November and one crore on 19 December.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 21 crore 76 lakh 18 thousand 57 samples tested in the country as of March 1. Of these, 7,59,283 samples examined on Monday.

The second phase of vaccination campaign started on Monday after more than 3.6 lakh health workers. And advance front personnel vaccinated in Delhi in the first phase of vaccination. Which started in the country from January 16. Under this, senior citizens and more than 1.25 lakh people above the age of 45, suffering from serious diseases, got vaccinated. In this, 1,28,630 people aged 60 years and 18,850 people above 45 years were vaccinated.
