New Delhi: Corona cases continue to rise in the country. The highest number of cases of corona were reported in the last 30 days on Sunday. More than 100 people also died during this period. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, February 28, 16 thousand 752 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours.

At the same time 113 people died. 11 thousand 718 patients recover from infection. During this, seven lakh 95 thousand 723 sample tests were conducted. Earlier, on January 29, 18,855 new cases of corona were confirmed. Active cases are increasing due to increase in new cases.

According to the Ministry of Health, one crore 10 lakh 96 thousand 731 cases of total corona have been reported so far in the country. Out of these, one crore seven lakh 75 thousand 169 patients have been cured. The death toll has gone to one lakh 57 thousand 051. The active case is one lakh 64 thousand 511. So far, 21 crore 62 lakh 31 thousand 106 sample tests have been done. The active case is 1.48 percent, recovery rate 97.10 percent and death rate 1.42 percent.

Vaccination in India:

So far, a total of one crore 43 lakh one thousand 266 people have been vaccinated in the country. Corona vaccination began on 16 January. The second phase of vaccination will start tomorrow i.e. from March 1. Elderly people (above 60 years) and those above the age of 45 suffering from severe illness will undergo corona vaccination.

In the last 24 hours, 51 people died in Maharashtra, 18 in Kerala and 11 in Punjab. Maharashtra has by far the highest number of deaths from Corona. So far, 52 thousand 092 people have died.
