New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has met the family of the girl who was allegedly raped in Purana Nangal village in Cantt area of ​​the capital Delhi. It is reported that the accused had killed the girl after raping her.

Apart from this, the family has also alleged that the priest at the crematorium performed the last rites of the girl without her consent and said that the death was due to electrocution.

In media reports, it has been informed by the police that, the girl living in Purana Nangal village had left the house at around 5:30 pm on Sunday to get cold water from the water cooler of the crematorium. At 6 pm, the priest of the crematorium, Radhe Shyam and 2-3 other people who introduced the victim's mother called him to the crematorium and showed the body of the girl.

Delhi Rape Case:

Police informed that people told the mother that the girl died due to electrocution while drinking water from the water cooler. At the same time, the mother says that the girl had bruises on her wrist and elbow and her lips had turned blue.

The priest and others asked the girl's mother not to inform the police. He told the mother that with this the matter would reach the postmortem, where the child's organs would be stolen.

During this, the child was cremated without the consent of the mother. Officials informed that after this the woman called her husband. After the matter came to light, about 200 people living in the village gathered on the spot and the police were informed.

On Monday, four people named Radhe Shyam, Kuldeep, Laxmi Narayan and Salim were arrested in this case. Shyam is the priest in the crematorium, whereas, the other three people are known to the girl's mother. A woman living in the neighborhood of the girl has demanded the police to check the CCTV footage. Along with this, he has appealed to give strict punishment to the accused.
