Light rain occurred in some parts of Delhi on Wednesday and the Meteorological Department had predicted strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in the national capital till late evening. Intermittent rain was recorded in many areas including Connaught Place. Due to drizzle, the fog situation in the capital has definitely improved to some extent.

An official said that due to bad weather on a few flights were diverted at Delhi airport. Many trains also got delayed due to dense fog. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Office, it is expected that fluctuations in the weather will continue till February 3 due to western disturbance. The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi on Wednesday was 7.3 degrees Celsius, which was one degree less than the average temperature of this season.
