The Meteorological Department has also declared a cold day in these two states.

There is continuous snowfall in the high altitude areas of the country's hilly states Gilgit Baltistan, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There is forecast of snowfall in the high altitude areas and valleys of these states in the coming few days. In such a situation, traffic in these areas has been affected, but snowfall is a relief for tourists. This time snowfall has started quite late in the high mountain areas. However, snowfall is still below average.

There was good sunshine in Delhi-NCR on Friday morning, but it became dim in the afternoon. The Meteorological Department said that fog was also seen in Delhi and surrounding areas and visibility was recorded up to about 500 meters. Due to dense fog in Delhi-NCR for the last few days, air, rail and road traffic has been badly affected.
