CM Arvind Kejriwal bans firecrackers in Delhi before Diwali

CM Kejriwal said that in view of the dangerous condition of Delhi's pollution during Diwali for the last 3 years, a complete ban is being imposed on the storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers.

New Delhi: This year also the Kejriwal government has banned firecrackers in view of Diwali. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave this information by tweeting. Kejriwal said that in view of the dangerous condition of Delhi's pollution during Diwali for the last 3 years, like last year, a complete ban is being imposed on the storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers. So that people's lives can be saved.

Ban on crackers in Delhi:

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said last year a complete ban was imposed late last year in view of the seriousness of pollution after the stocking of firecrackers by traders, causing losses to the traders. It is an appeal to all the traders that this time in view of the complete ban, do not store any kind.

Let us tell you that every year the level of pollution in Delhi increases significantly during winters. Every time many efforts are made by the Delhi Government to reduce it. At the same time, before the coming winter, the Kejriwal government has once again started working on several big schemes to deal with this problem.

CM Kejriwal's appeal to people:

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai held a joint meeting on 14 September with all the concerned departments regarding the Winter Action Plan. In this meeting, all the departments were entrusted with the responsibilities for preparing the winter action plan. In this meeting, all the three high officials of MCD, NDMC, Cantonment Board, DDA, CPWD, PWD as well as Traffic Police, Transport Department, Environment Department, Development Department were present.

Preparation for winters:

After the meeting, Gopal Rai had said that, 'The purpose of the meeting is to prepare a joint action plan in this war against pollution inside Delhi. We have given specific tasks for different departments. On which all the departments have to prepare their action plan and submit it to the Environment Department by September 21. Accordingly, we will prepare the winter action plan of the government.
