Child seeks Mahindra Thar for 700, Anand Mahindra says will go bankrupt if that happens

The craze for Mahindra Thar is from children to adults. Its 5-door version is to be launched soon by the company. But before this, a video of a child went viral on social media from Noida.

In this video, a child named Chiku is engaged in conversation with his father and is saying that he should get this lifestyle SUV for just Rs700. Mahindra and Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has also reacted regarding this.

In this video which is around one minute 30 seconds, it is shown that the boy is requesting his father to bring a Mahindra SUV. Chiku Yadav believes that Thar and XUV700 SUVs are similar models and can be bought for just Rs700. Despite his father trying to explain the difference between the two SUVs, he stands firm on his point.

After seeing this video, Mahindra reacted to the boy's video in his own style and showered love on him.

He wrote on his X platform "My friend Sooni Taraporewala sent it to me saying, ‘I love Chiku!’ So I saw some of her posts on Instagram and now I love her too. My only problem is that if we validate his claim and sell Thar for Rs 700, we will go bankrupt very soon."

Many people have requested Anand Mahindra to fulfill the boy's wish.

Many people suggested Anand Mahindra to gift him a Thar SUV when the boy turns 18 or give him a toy version. Mahindra Thar is a lifestyle off-road SUV, which comes at a starting price of Rs10.98 lakh.
