NEW DELHI: The weather has suddenly changed in many states of the country. Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh will receive non-seasonal rains. According to weather experts, there may be rains in many states and cities during the coming 48 hours.

There is a possibility of snowfall in the hill areas due to which the cold will increase. There will be rain and snowfall over the mountains for the next 24 hours.

Freezing Cold in North India:

During the next two to three days in the plains of North India, there will be freezing cold. Temperatures will fall in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The process of rain will continue in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh including Mumbai.

Dense Fog in Uttar Pradesh, Rain in Madhya Pradesh:

By December 15 of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be dense fog in different parts of Uttar Pradesh. In the coming 4-5 days, light rain may occur in Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and thunderstorms in Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh from 14 to 15 December.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of rain in the next two days in many states including Delhi, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Rainfall may occur in UP, Bihar on 15-16 December, as the change in weather is being seen from now. Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim will get both rain and cold. There is a possibility of rain and cold in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and Uttarakhand. These states are already freezing cold.

The Regional Meteorological Department of Rajasthan has reported that light rain may occur at different places in Jaipur, Ajmer, Nagaur, Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sawaimadhopur, Karauli districts and surrounding areas. Light rains and thunderstorms may occur in Jaipur, Ajmer districts.
