BSF provides proof of destruction of 14 Pakistani posts

Srinagar: Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday released a video showing how 14 Pakistani Rangers post across the border destroyed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Since the surgical strike on September 29, BSF has claimed to have gunned down 15 Pakistani Rangers. Twenty people including 12 civilians have lost their lives in the recent cross border firing by Pakistan.

"We fire only towards military bunkers from where Pakistani forces fire. We have caused heavy damage on 14 Pakistani bunkers," said BSF inspector-general of police, D.K. Upadhyay.

According to Pakistan, it has lost 17 civilians in India’s shelling.

"Pakistani forces are firing heavy mortars deliberately towards Indian civilian areas. The BSF never fires towards any Pakistani civilian area," he added.
