BSF organizes 'Independence Day Walk' at Pakistan border posts

New Delhi: The Border Security Force has directed all security posts and area units along the borders of Pakistan and Bangladesh to organize 'Independence Day Walk' on Independence Day.

Officials informed on Sunday that on August 6, a directive has been issued by the headquarters on the instructions of Border Security Force (BSF) chief SS Deswal.

Under this, all commanders have been asked to ensure that a senior officer passes through the other offices and training centers as well as every border post of Pakistan and Bangladesh front on the night of 14 and 15 August.

10 Km Independence Walk:

The order related to Independence Day states that the officials who will visit the border posts are flag hoisting, plantation, 10 km Independence Day Walk with all the personnel and officers of the outpost and 'big house' or 'grand' with 50 personnel doing excellent work.
