Bollywood actor Rimi Sen joins BJP, may contest from Punjab

New Delhi: With Uttar Pradesh assembly polls at the doors, Bollywood actor and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Rimi Sen joined Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday.

She made her political debut in the presence of BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya.

“It is not only me, who is inspired from Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the entire nation is. I will go wherever party needs me. I will fulfill the given responsibility,” said ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ actress.

As per the reports, actor Sunny Deol may also join BJP. Both are likely to contest elections from Punjab.

‘Dhoom’, ‘Hungama’, ‘Kyon Ki’, ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’, ‘Garam Masala’ and ‘Thank You’ are few of her popular Bollywood movies.
