BJP forming government in Assam was surprising for some: Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that for some the victory in Assam was as surprising as forming alliance with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir.

“For some, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) forming government is as surprising as party formed an alliance in Jammu and Kashmir,” said Modi in his address at the party office in New Delhi.

• People voting for BJP clearly mean that now people want development and they see progressive work being done in the country.
