The Election Commission has suspended in-charges of two police stations for allegedly failing to stop the violence during the Ram Navami procession in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. According to the Election Commission, the in-charges of Shaktipur and Beldanga police stations failed to stop the religious violence despite instructions. Let us tell you that a procession was taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami. There was an incident of violence during the procession. Let us tell you that along with Murshidabad, violent incidents had also taken place in Medinipur.

Hindu devotees were targeted in Rejinagar, Murshidabad. Hindus are a minority in this area. A video of the incident of people pelting stones from a rooftop in Rejinagar was also revealed.

There was also a clash between two communities in Igra of Medinipur. Also arson was done. Many people were reported injured in the violence. Let us tell you that clashes and violence took place during the Ram Navami procession on Wednesday evening in Shaktipur area of Rejinagar in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. There was news of some people getting injured in this incident. It is being claimed that when the Ram Navami procession was being taken out, stone pelting started in the area and people were seen pelting stones from the rooftops.
