Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bengaluru, the city's traffic police have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and enhance security during the VVIP movement. The advisory includes specific restrictions on various roads in the Devanahalli Traffic Police Station limits between 8 am and 6 pm. Commuters are urged to take note of alternative routes suggested by the police to avoid congestion and delays.

As PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a significant facility in the city, the Bengaluru traffic police have outlined specific areas where traffic movement will be restricted during the stipulated hours. These include routes such as Gollahalli Gate to Hunachuru (KIADB Industrial Area), Airlines Dhaba (NH-648) to Budigere, Hennuru-Bagaluru Main Road to Airport Road, Chikkajala Kote Main Road to Airport, and Bagaluru to Airport.

To facilitate the smooth movement of vehicles during the restricted hours, the traffic police have recommended alternative routes for the public. These suggested routes aim to redirect traffic efficiently and reduce congestion. Commuters traveling from Whitefield K.R. Puram via Bagaluru Industrial Area towards the Airport, and those moving from Airlines Dhaba to the Airport via KIADB Industrial Area, have specific alternative routes provided by the police.

Additionally, vehicles moving from Hennuru-Bagaluru Main Road towards KIAL Airport via Mylanahalli, those moving from Chikkajala Kote Main Road towards KIAL Airport via Galamma Circle, and vehicles traveling from Bagaluru Village towards KIAL Airport via Galamma Circle also have alternative routes outlined in the advisory.

The advisory emphasizes that all commuters heading to the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) must use the Bengaluru-Bellary Road to reach the airport during the specified hours. This directive is aimed at ensuring a streamlined flow of traffic and minimizing disruptions for airport-bound travelers.

As part of the security measures and to avoid inconvenience to the public, the traffic advisory provides clear instructions for commuters to follow alternative routes diligently. It serves as a crucial guideline to manage traffic efficiently and maintain a safe environment during the Prime Minister's visit to Bengaluru. Commuters are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and cooperate with the traffic management measures in place.
