Bar Council of India can reject Prashant Bhushan's License

New Delhi: The problems of lawyer Prashant Bhushan from the Supreme Court have not stopped. Prashant Bhushan, found guilty of contempt of court, can now be tried for his advocacy license after being sentenced by the court. In fact, paragraph 89 of the Court's decision states that after being convicted in a criminal case, the Bar Council of India (BCI) can suspend the nomination of a lawyer if it so desires.
