Arvind Kejriwal's ED remand ends today, will appear in court; Tight security arrangements at PM House and other places

After receiving news of protest by Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers, police and paramilitary forces have been deployed for security. In view of the security arrangements, about 1000 staff of Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed.

The remand of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is in jail after his arrest by ED in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam case, is ending today. Today he will be presented in Rouse Avenue Court. The police have made elaborate security arrangements for the appearance of the Delhi Chief Minister. The police have converted the area around New Delhi and Rouse Avenue Court into a cantonment.

After receiving news of protest by Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers, police and paramilitary forces have been deployed for security. In view of the security arrangements, about 1000 staff of Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed.

In view of the appearance of Arvind Kejriwal, the important responsibility of security arrangements has been handed over to the ACP and SHO of Delhi Police. Along with this, orders have been given to detain those protesting. Vehicles will also not be allowed to move without checking. Vehicles will be allowed to move on all routes leading to New Delhi border only after checking. In view of AAP's protests in view of Kejriwal's appearance, Delhi Police has also increased the security of Rouse Avenue Court, BJP Headquarters, LG House, PM House, HM House and BJP President's house.

Even after the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party had protested in many areas. Due to the protests, security was increased around BJP headquarters and ITO. Today once again the police has received information about protests by Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers, due to which the police has already become alert and has tightened the security arrangements.

ED is continuously in action in the money laundering case related to the excise policy scam. ED team raided the house of AAP leader Deepak Singla on Wednesday. ED officials came out of Singla's house at 2 o'clock in the night. ED team is conducting raids in Delhi and its surrounding areas including the AAP leader's house.
