New Delhi: On the one hand, Corona has wreaked havoc all over the world, on the other hand, the first super cyclone of this century in India 'Amphan' will hit the beach in sometime. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for many areas of West Bengal and Odisha.

The most terrifying super cyclone 'Amphan Cyclone' is expected to hit the coast of West Bengal today. During this time, its speed can be from 155 to 185 kilometers per hour. Strong winds and heavy rain are expected. According to the Meteorological Department of India (IMD), during this time, the coastal districts of Bengal will receive heavy rains and four to five meters high waves will rise in the sea.

Wind speed can reach 250 km per hour:

Due to the effect of this storm, rain has started in these areas and by evening the wind speed will also cross one hundred and fifty kilometers per hour. While the wind speed can reach 250 km per hour from Wednesday morning. In the morning it was said by the Meteorological Department that this storm has weakened slightly, But once again its speed has increased. Many states will be affected by this storm.

As many as 15 teams are in active deployment and five are in reserve for seven districts of Odisha, while 19 teams are actively deployed and two in reserve for six districts of West Bengal, the NDRF chief had said on Tuesday.

As per data received from the state governments, he added, about 1.20-1.25 lakh people have been evacuated in Odisha and about 3.30 lakh in West Bengal in view of the cyclone.
