Lucknow: There is bad news for the pilgrims waiting for the Amarnath Yatra to begin. In view of the fears of the third wave of coronavirus infection, the Amarnath Shrine Board has decided to cancel the Amarnath Yatra this year as well. However, devotees will be able to see Baba Barfani online. Let us inform that in 2020 also Amarnath Yatra was canceled due to corona infection.

Amarnath Yatra canceled:

It has been said by the Shrine Board, devotees from different parts of the country will participate in this yatra. In such a situation, there may be a risk of spreading corona infection. In view of the current situation, it is important for the devotees to stay safe at home. It has also been said by the board that like every year, all the traditional rituals will be completed as before.

Facility of Online darshan:

Amarnath Shrine Board understands the sentiments of crores of devotees and keeping this in mind, the board has also decided to arrange for live darshan of morning and evening aarti. Everyday arrangements will be made for live darshan of both the aartis.

The 56-day yatra to the cave temple of Lord Shiva, situated at an altitude of 3,880 meters in the higher reaches of the Himalayas, was to begin on June 28 via Pahalgam and Baltal routes and end on August 22.
