'Allahu Akbar' is a scary word, says Taslima Nasrin

New Delhi: The Bangladeshi author and former physician Taslima Nasrin, who has always been in light for her controversial statement has said that 'Allahu-Akbar' is a scary word.

Nasrin's statement can once again attract her towards wrangle. In her another tweet she posted, "If there were an almighty called Allah, he would have protested against the terrorists who have been killing people in the name of him."

It may be mentioned that, on January 5, a man attempted knife attack on the security guards who were on duty at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The soldiers fired five shots at the accused.

Wielding a knife, the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” which translates to God is Great.
