Mumbai: An Air India aircraft AI614, carrying as many as 128 passengers from Ahemdabad, suffered a tyre burst while landing at Mumbai airport at 0904 hours on Tuesday.
The flight from Ahemdabad to Mumbai suffered the tyre burst at the Chatrpati Shivaji International Airport, said the AI spokesperson in New Delhi. He assured, “All passengers and crew members were safe and another aircraft was arranged for the passengers”, he stated.
The spokesperson said, “the Airbus A320 aircraft has been pressed into service to fly the passengers to their destination.”
