AIMPLB holds meeting in Lucknow to discuss triple talaq, Babri Masjid issues

Lucknow: All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) on Saturday held a meeting at Lucknow's Nadwa College to discuss important issues including Triple Talaq and Babri Masjid.

The meeting was attended by the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Asaduddin Owaisi and AIMPLB members Maulana Wali Rehman, Saif al-Rahmani and Maulana Rabe Hasan Nadvi.

It may be mentioned that Muslim women have stood against the practice of triple talaq. After Vice-President Hamid Ansari's wife Salma, another woman member of AIMPLB Rukhsana Nikhat Lari has denounced the practice of triple talaq.
