Active Corona virus cases in country stand at 6,43,948

The number of people infected with Corona crossed 2.3 million on Tuesday. However, the number of patients recovering in India is also increasing rapidly amidst increasing cases of corona. More than 1.6 million patients of Corona virus have been cured in the country. The recovery rate for patients has come down to about 70 percent, while the death rate has come down to less than two percent.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, 60,963 new infected cases have been found during the last twenty four hours and the total number of cases has increased to 23 lakh 29 thousand 639.

16 Lakh people are out of danger:

The best thing is that out of these 16 lakh 39 thousand 600 patients have become completely healthy. At present there are 6 lakh 43 thousand 948 active cases of corona. So far, 46,091 patients have also lost their lives due to the corona pandemic.

According to ICMR till August 11, 2 crore 60 lakh 15 thousand 297 samples have been tested for corona virus, out of which 7 lakh 33 thousand 449 samples were tested on Tuesday.

Corona Updates in India:

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that as of March 31, the number of active cases has been reduced to 28.21 percent as compared to 88.83 percent active cases. Less than one percent of these patients are on ventilator, while less than three percent of patients are needing oxygen. ICU has less than four percent of patients.
