A Rly Khalasi gifts land worth lakhs to his old Rly minister's daughter

Patna: Anything can happen in the land of lord Buddha-- Bihar. A fourth grade railway employee who draws a poor salary can gift land worth lakhs of rupees not to his own daughter but to the daughter of former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

The lucky daughter of the first political family of Bihar who is known outside as Hema Yadav received not one land gift but two on the same day-- January 13,2014.

The value of the two pieces of land gifted to her was Rs 62 lakh each as per a disclosure made by for deputy chief minister of the state Sushil Kumar Modi.

The railway employee who gifted the land to the rich ( it has been recently disclosed that the family owns properties worth Rs 1000 crores) and famous family was working as a helper ( Khalasi) and was in Rs 5200- 20,000 salary band.

Hema is not the only fortunate member of the family. Most of other family members including Lalu's wife and former chief minister Rabri Devi have also received gifts of this kind from one person or the other.

All these suspicious deals have come to light following raids at 22 locations in Delhi and other places associated with the family.
