Jammu and Kashmir, which is called the crown of India, is now becoming free from the terror of terrorism. Tourism in Kashmir has been gaining momentum since the central Modi government removed Article 370 and Article 35A from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019 and made Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh two separate states.

Breaking the record of 77 years, two crore tourists from across the country came to visit Jammu and Kashmir in 2023. Along with this, due to the help given by the government, more than 100 films were shot here last year.

Making a report public, the Jammu and Kashmir administration said that breaking the record of 77 years, two crore tourists from across the country came to visit Jammu and Kashmir in 2023. Along with this, more than 100 small and big films were shot in the state. Famous French newspaper Le Figaro has presented a report on the emerging attraction of Kashmir. In this it has been described as a forgotten paradise opening up to foreign travelers after decades of struggle. In her article, Berenice Debros portrays Srinagar as a paradise of peace in the foothills of the Himalayas.

The administration spokesperson said that Le Figaro's report concludes that it beautifully depicts the journey of Jammu and Kashmir from its conflict-torn past to a prosperous present. The Forgotten Paradise is portrayed as having regained its position on the world stage, symbolizing a new era of magic and enchantment.

At the same time, not even a single incident of stone pelting has been reported in the valley in 2023. Director General of Police RR Swain, while talking about law and order, said that a 60% decline was seen in stone pelting while incidents of stone pelting organized by pro-Pakistan groups have been recorded as 'zero' this year. Apart from this, Operation 'All Out', 'Operation Maa', being run by the security forces, especially the Army, in Jammu and Kashmir since 2016 seems to be giving a double attack on terrorism, due to which the top commanders leading all the groups operating here have been killed.
