Seven patients died since last night taking the death count in the Government Medical College and Hospital to 31 in the past 48 hours. Among these 31 patients, 16 were infants or children.

The issue of deaths in Nanded, Maharashtra is not showing any signs of stopping. Seven more patients, including 4 children, have died in the hospital (Nanded Hospital Deaths). So far 31 people have lost their lives in the last 48 hours.

The death toll in government medical colleges and hospitals in the last 48 hours has now reached 31, including 16 children. The large number of deaths in hospitals is raising questions on the health system.

After all, what is the reason for these deaths is not clear yet. However, people are holding the poor government system responsible for these deaths. This case pertains to Shankarrao Chavan Government Hospital, Nanded.

The statement of the Dean of Shankarrao Chavan Government Hospital regarding the deaths taking place in the hospital was also released. He had said that most of the deaths were due to snake bites and the rest due to diseases. The situation is such that the issue of deaths is not showing any signs of stopping. These figures are continuously increasing.

The dean of the hospital had said that there was only one hospital within a radius of 70-80 km. People come here from far and wide to get treatment. For the past few days, patients have been coming to the hospital in large numbers. We have purchased medicines locally and made them available to the patients. He had said that we are a tertiary level health center.

Whereas Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde had called these deaths unfortunate. He had said that information will be sought from the hospital on these deaths and action will also be taken. The opposition is attacking the Eknath government regarding this incident. He says that the triple engine government of Maharashtra should take responsibility for this incident.
