New Delhi: Under the Vande Bharat Mission, work is on progress to bring the stranded Indians from abroad. In this mission Govt is trying their best to help people of India stranded in other countries. Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that about 1,25,000 Indians have returned home from different countries under the mission.

He informed that on June 23, 6,037 Indian nationals have been brought back from abroad.

So far nearly 125K Indians have come back:

This information was given by Hardeep Singh Puri on his social media account. He tweeted, 'Vande Bharat continues to be a mission of hope & happiness for stranded & distressed Indians around the world. So far nearly 125K Indians have come back on these evacuation flights & nearly 43K have flown out of India. Today 6037 people returned from different countries.'

Three flights from Kuwait to Ahmedabad:

At the same time, Go Air has operated 28 international private charter flights under the third phase of the Vande Bharat Mission till 20 June 2020, with a total of three flights from Kuwait to Ahmedabad, Dammam to Lucknow and Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad.

In Vande Bharat Mission, a total of 2,451 Indian nationals flew from Kuwait to Ahmedabad, Kannur, Kochi and Lucknow.

549 people from Dubai to Kannur and Cochin, 544 citizens from Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad, Kannur and Kochi, 541 citizens from Muscat to Kannur and Lucknow, 528 Indian citizens from Doha to Kannur and Bangalore, and 351 citizens from Dammam to Kannur and Lucknow.

This was the third phase of Vande Bharat Mission, in which more than 6 thousand Indian citizen flew from abroad to their natives in India.
