We all however know that protein is a very important nutrient for body.

People often consume non-vegetarian foods like chicken, mutton and eggs to fulfill the protein requirement. But so many people do not consume non-veg and eggs and that is why they depend on vegetarian foods especially pulses. But you will be surprised to know that here are some other veg foods contain more protein than eggs and chicken. By consuming these foods, the body will become very strong, and you can get miraculous benefits.

Protein is the building block for our system. It is necessary to make and maintain the functioning of all the cells of your body, for your hair and nails to blood, skin, bones and body.

So today, we are going to share some four important foods which will fill the requirement of protein.

Soyabean: It contains plenty of protein. Soybeans is considered the best source of protein for vegetarians. A person gets essential amino acids along with protein by consuming Soyabean. 100 grams Soyabeans contain about 12 to 20 grams of protein. Soy milk is also a good option for protein.

Legumes: It is also a good source of protein. All types of green beans contain plenty of nutrients, which help in controlling blood sugar and reduce bad cholesterol. 170 grams of cooked beans contain 15 grams of protein. Consuming them also reduce fat and provide many other benefits.

Oatmeal: It also contains a good amount of protein. If you want to fulfill the protein deficiency, then oatmeal is a good option. 40 grams of oats contain five grams of protein and four grams of fiber. The best thing is that Oatmeal is a light weight food which can be consumed at time.

Chia seeds: 100 grams of chia seeds contain 17 grams of protein. If you consume a teaspoon of chia seeds daily, then the shortage of protein will be ended in your body.
