Spices are added to the food to add taste, but these spices help in keeping the health good. Different kitchen spices can be used to reduce various health related problems. High cholesterol is also a similar health problem in which blood vessels start getting blocked and blood does not reach different parts of the body properly.

In such a situation, some spices can be included in the diet to reduce bad cholesterol levels. These spices not only keep the overall health of the body good, but are also effective in increasing good cholesterol and reducing bad cholesterol.

Cinnamon:

Consumption of cinnamon especially proves beneficial in removing heart problems. Cinnamon improves blood flow and is effective in clearing internal blockages. Anti-oxidants and anti-microbial properties are also found in cinnamon which also supports insulin production. To reduce blood cholesterol, cinnamon tea can be drunk or it can be included in different food items.

Turmeric:

Turmeric, rich in medicinal properties, is also used extensively in Ayurveda. The body gets not just one but many benefits from this. An active compound named curcumin is also found in it. At the same time, turmeric is a good source of anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Its consumption has the effect of reducing cholesterol.

Fenugreek seeds:

Yellow fenugreek seeds provide many benefits to health. These grains have cholesterol reducing properties. Fenugreek seeds also detoxify the body. Consuming these grains has the effect of reducing cholesterol. You can make fenugreek tea and drink it or you can soak fenugreek seeds in a bowl overnight and eat these seeds in the morning. ,

Celery:

Consumption of celery can also be beneficial in reducing cholesterol. Celery is effective in increasing good cholesterol and reducing bad cholesterol. A good amount of fatty acids and dietary fiber are also found in it.
