Although it has been two years since we had two successive years of Covid 19 induced pandemic, the virus continued to take a toll on the people who had been cured of the same. The after effects of the virus infection is still prevalent in one form or the other.

Many people have died recently across the country due to heart problems. Especially in Gujarat, during Navratri festival, many people suffered heart attacks and died while playing 'Garba'.

During the last two years, the number of people dying from heart attacks in the country has increased rapidly. This year, during Navratri, many people died due to heart attacks while playing Garba in many states of the country. Since then there is a situation of fear among the people. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya advised people to avoid exercising more than necessary.

Citing a study by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Sunday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that ICMR has conducted a detailed study. According to this study, people who had previously suffered from severe Covid-19 infection should not work excessively hard.

“They (previously infected people) should stay away from rigorous exercise, running and workouts for one or two years to avoid heart attacks.” said Uttar Pradesh Governor and former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel. Many people have died recently across the country due to heart problems.

Especially in Gujarat, during Navratri festival, many people suffered heart attacks and died while playing 'Garba'. After this, State Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel held a meeting with medical experts including 'cardiologists'. Patel asked experts to collect data on deaths to find out the causes and treatment. UP governor Anandiben Patel had recently expressed concern over the issue during her visit to the state.
