We should clean the tongue before doing brush because this is place where all the toxic elements are stored and of course we consume everything with our tongue.

According to Ayurveda coach Salila Sukumaran when a person sleeps in the night, the digestive system of the body remains active.

During this process, toxic elements are released from the body and stored in the mouth.

During the sleeping period bacteria, fungus, remaining food and other toxic elements are stored.

And if you don't clean your tongue in the morning then these substances will store back in the stomach which cause digestion problem, breathing problem and can affect immune system also.

Many people consume tea or coffee in the morning without cleaning the teeth. So it is better that it should be clean before taking anything.
