Corona infection- vaccine has nothing to do with heart attack

Corona infection and corona vaccine have nothing to do with heart attack or cardiac arrest.

Many reasons are responsible for causing sudden deaths of the youths. Heart attack was found to be the cause of sudden death only in a few cases. Therefore people do not need to panic.

According to the experts people should know the reasons behind these heart attacks and they must be aware of real facts.

This information was given by well-known cardiologists of the country. In a press conference organized by the Health and Family Welfare Department and UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, these doctors talked about heart related diseases, cases related to heart diseases in youth, precautions and care and many misconceptions in this regard.

Dr. Chirag Joshi, Director of UN Mehta Hospital, said that there can be many reasons for sudden death in any person. Not every sudden death is cardiac death. Heart attack is the cause of sudden death only in a few cases.

He went on to add that before the Corona period, in UN Mehta Hospital, the average number of heart attack patients was 8 to 11 percent per year, which has been seen to be around 12 percent in the post-Corona data till 2023. In this way, after the Corona period, there has been an average increase in cardiac hospitals in the state. According to experts, cardiac arrest and heart attack are two different issues which need to be understood.

Cardiologist Dr. Bhavesh Roy said that the rate of heart attack has increased among the youth today. In such a situation, the youth do not need to be afraid of heart attack but need to be cautious. The biggest change is taking place in lifestyle today. Due to this also, more cases of heart attack are being seen.
