Holi, the festival of colors, is almost here and many days before Holi, playing Holi has started in schools, colleges and offices etc. It is a lot of fun playing with colors on Holi, but Holi colors also prove to be harmful to the skin.

You may be using herbal colors (Herbal Gulal), but you never know when someone will apply what kind of Gulal. In such a situation, playing Holi with chemical gulal or solid colors can cause rashes on the skin, the solid color can fade, the skin can get cut or peeled and the risk of skin damage also increases.

In such a situation, know here about Pre Holi Skin Care. By keeping these simple things in mind, you can save your skin from major damage. At the same time, if children are going to play Holi in school, then their skin can also be taken care of with the methods mentioned here.

Almond oil:

Almond oil proves to be amazing for the skin. Before playing Holi, you can rub almond oil on your skin. Almond oil is a rich source of Vitamin E. This oil forms a protective layer on the skin so that the colors do not harm the skin. Apart from this, if almond oil is applied on the face and body before playing Holi, then the oil does not stick to the skin.

Coconut oil:

Like almond oil, coconut oil is also good for the skin. Apply coconut oil thoroughly before playing Holi. This oil can be applied on skin as well as hair. Due to this, the hair is also not harmed by colours.

Sunscreen:

While playing Holi, we mostly stay outside in the sun. This also increases sun tanning. In such a situation, sunscreen can be applied on the face and body. If waterproof sunscreen is applied on the skin then the skin also gets protected from colours. Especially people playing Holi in office should play Holi only after applying sunscreen.

Start applying toner:

No matter when Holi happens, you should start applying toner on your face from today itself. By applying toner, the large pores of the skin start becoming smaller. Due to this, the skin does not absorb the colors quickly and the dead skin also accumulates less on the face.

Petroleum jelly:

Different types of petroleum jelly are available in the market. Petroleum jelly creates a barrier on the skin so that the colors do not harm the skin. That is why petroleum jelly can be used before playing Holi.
