New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched a foldable phone under the Mix lineup last year and it was named Mi Mix Fold. Now in view of the increasing popularity of foldable phones, the company is going to bring an upgrade variant of Mix Fold. The name of Xiaomi's upcoming foldable phone will be Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. Samsung's 8.1 UTG display will be used in this phone.

According to the new report, Xiaomi's upcoming foldable smartphone was seen during the IMEI database. Also, the model number 22061218C of this upcoming mobile has also been seen during the certification.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will be launched in the month of June or July of the year 2022 and it will first knock in the Chinese market, after that it will be introduced in other countries. The codename of this phone has been given as Jijhan. Also, this phone will be seen with upgraded specifications.

Samsung display in Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 :

According to the latest report, the company will use an 8.1-inch UTG AMOLED display in its upcoming mobile, which is Samsung's display. The UTG display is processed at 30 microns, which improves the flexibility and durability.

Talking about other features, many new designs will be seen in the foldable phone of Xiaomi coming next year. Also the hinges will be upgraded. The bezels can also be made thinner in this. Many leaks are yet to come out about this phone.

For information, let us tell you that Xiaomi has used polyimide film for the flexible screen, which was seen in the mix fold. This technology was provided to Xiaomi by Huaxing Optoelectronics (TCL CSOT). The same technology has been used for Huawei's Mate X2 as well.
