Vivo Y55s launched with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, Check Specifications

New Delhi: China's smartphone maker Vivo has recently unveiled a new phone Y55s 5G. The phone has just been launched in China only. Which is equipped with the latest 5G in the company's Y-series portfolio. As mentioned in previous leaks, the Vivo Y55s is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and is powered by a 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The VivoY55s comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone runs on Android 11, on top of which is the company's Origin OS.

Vivo Y55s 5G Price:

The Vivo Y55s 5G is priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs 20,200) and is available in three color options – Black, Blue and Pink. A listing for the smartphone is now live on the company's website, but there is no word on when it will go on sale.

Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, Vivo Y55s 5G comes with support for 5G networks and is equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone flaunts a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD display and comes with a 6,000mAh battery, which can be charged 18W over USB Type-C.

Camera:

On the camera front, the Vivo Y55s 5G is equipped with a dual camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front of the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera that is housed in a waterdrop-style notch. The smartphone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack located next to the USB Type-C port at the bottom.

Vivo Y55s 5G has been introduced in Blue, Pink or Black color options for CNY1,699. It is yet to be launched for sale on the company's website and third party retailers in China. As of now, there is no information on when Vivo will launch the Y55s smartphone in India. Going by the information, it seems that Vivo has some other Y-series smartphones in the pipeline for the Chinese market. Vivo V2140A and V2140A have recently appeared on the TENAA certification website with full specifications.
