Check out the Smart Toothbrush by Oral-B

Oral-B company has launched three new smart toothbrushes at the 2022 CES the world's largest tech event. The new smart toothbrush range includes two budget brushes iO4 and iO5 and a premium model oral iO10. The most expensive iO10 model features a lot of advanced features, as well as real-time oral health coaching. Habits can also be tracked with these smart brushes for mouth cleansing.

Tracking through smartphone

The time, pressure, and coverage of brushing will be tracked after connecting the new iO10 toothbrush to the smartphone. The good thing is that in the meantime, users will not have to take their smartphone to the bathroom and this information will be stored in smart toothpaste. Users will be able to review the data stored in the brush later in the Oral-B app and thus get better information about their brushing habits.

Seven cleaning modes to be found in brush

Oral-B in new electric brushes have given different cleaning modes for personalized cleaning years. These modes include Daily Clean, Sensitive, Super-Sensitive, Intense, Whiten, Gum Care, and Tung Clean. The company says the smart brush features a sensor that will show a green light when brushed properly and show a red light when put under more pressure. This way the user will be able to brush correctly.

Price may be higher than the existing model

Oral-B iO10 is a rechargeable toothbrush and can be easily charged. However, the price of this rechargeable toothbrush is yet to be revealed. In the US, oral-B's current iO series toothbrush is available at $299.99 (about Rs 22,300). In such a case, the new model can be launched at a higher price or in the same price range. The company has said that these toothbrushes will be launched in the next few months.

These features will be available in cheap ergonomic models. The company will bring other iO4 and iO5 toothbrushes at affordable prices and will have fewer features than premium brushes. Both of them will have lower cleaning modes than premium models and oral health coaching available in the charging base will also not be provided. After brushing these budget toothbrushes for two minutes, rainbow celebration lights will start burning on them. Both toothbrush models also have a small digital display.

Will smart brushes come to the Indian market?

Oral-B will bring new smart brushes into a lot of color options, including white, black, pink, blue, and lavender. All these smart brushes offer Bluetooth connectivity and can be used with the Oral-B app. However, the arrival of these brushes in the Indian market is yet to be decided.
