Kolkata: Three first year students were on Saturday awarded the maiden 'Learn-Earn-Return Fellowship' introduced by IIT Kharagpur this year, the institute announced.

Jyoti Agrawal, Jyotisman Das and Rathin Singha from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering received the fellowship on the occasion of the Annual Alumni Meet held during the day.

"The concept of Learn-Earn-Return is to support a student and enable him/her with the vision of extending similar support as an alumnus towards future generations of students at IIT Kharagpur. So it's a full circle of life which LER represents" said IIT Kharagpur director P.P. Chakrabarti.
