Shivpal Yadav's birthday to be celebrated as Satat Sangharsh Diwas

Lucknow: Celebrations have begun in Uttar Pradesh as Mulayam Singh Yadav’s brother and estranged uncle of former Chief Minister Akhilesh Singh Yadav, Shivpal Yadav will celebrate his 63rd birthday on Monday.

Coinciding with Basant Panchmi, Shivpal Yadav has decided to celebrate his birthday as 'Satat Sangharsh Diwas’ (relentless struggle day) and is also expected to release an e –book, about his political life, on the occasion.

There are also rife speculations about Shivpal announcing his next political move on Monday.

According to the sources close to the leader, Shivpal may use the occasion to announce some new steps of his political career today. Samajwadi Party sources said that Shivpal Yadav may go against the wishes of his brother Mulayam Singh Yadav and may float new political party.

Large scale preparations are being made at Vrindavan Garden of Etawah city for the celebrations and posters are put up in the entire state wishing him.

"A leader of the political stature of Shivpal Yadav who nurtured the Samajwadi party and made it a principal political force in Uttar Pradesh cannot live in a state of limbo for an indefinite period. He has to decide on his future course of action soon as time is running out’’, said Deepak Mishra, a close aide of Shivpal Yadav, former cabinet minister.
