SA vs IND 3rd Test: South Africa loses 3 for 81 till Lunch on Day 2

Johannesburg: Indian bowlers, thanks to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, have managed to send back not many but three batsmen back to pavilion by the time the South African team had reached to 81/3 in the third and final Test at the The Wanderers Stadium here on Thursday.

At Lunch on Day 2, South Africa had lost both the openers [Dean Elgar (4 off 40) and Aiden Markram (2 off 8)] and night-watchman Kagiso Rabada (30 off 84), while a good-looking Hashim Amla (32 off 52) and in-form AB de Villiers (0 off 2) were batting at the crease.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has done most of the damage as he dismissed both the opners on two amazing and almost unplayable away-going deliveries. Both of them were taken by the wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel.

Ishant Sharma stunned Rabada with a bouncing delivery which he edged to Ajinkya Rahane at the third slip.

Starting the second day at 6/1, the Proteas batsmen have done significant contribution to the scoreboard as India had managed only 187 runs in the first inning which is surely not a par score at the green wicket.

The other pacemen Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami have not been able to bag any success so far.

India would look forward to at least get rid of Amla, De Villiers and captain Faf du Plessis if they want to have any chances of winning this Test match and ending the series at 1-2.

Earlier, India rode on gritty half-centuries by Cheteshwar Pujara (50 off 179) and captain Virat Kohli (54 off 106) to post 187 runs on the scoreboard. Bhuvi had also contributed with the bat with a brilliant 30-run inning which came off 49 balls.
