Nidahas Trophy: India wins toss, Sri Lanka to bat in 19-over game

Colombo: After persistent rain, the Nidahas Trophy match is finally going to take place between Sri Lanka and India. Winning the toss, Rohit Sharma invited the hosts to bat first in the 19-over game at the R Premadasa stadium here on Monday.

India has dropped young Rishabh Pant to include reliable Lokesh Rahul in the playing XI, while Sri Lanka has recalled Suranga Lakmal for Dinesh Chandimal.

Sri Lanka: Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera (wk), Upul Tharanga, Dasun Shanaka, Thisara Perera (c), Jeevan Mendis, Akila Dananjaya, Nuwan Pradeep, Suranga Lakmal and Dushmantha Chameera.

India: Rohit Sharma (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Lokesh Rahul, Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Vijay Shankar, Washington Sundar, Jaydev Unadkat, Shardul Thakur and Yuzvendra Chahal.
