Nidahas Trophy Final: India wins toss; Sri Lanka to bat

Colombo: After winning a very controversial virtual semifinal against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh is all set to lock horns with India in the final of the Nidahas Trophy at the R Premadasa stadium here on Sunday.

Winning the toss, India invited Bangladesh to bat first with skipper Rohit Sharma saying that despite his belief of putting runs son the board, it was important to go with the trend throughout the series where teams have won batting second more often.

Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan, however, clarified that he did not mid batting first as it was a great track to bat on.

Examining the pitch, former Australian cricketer Brett Lee said that 180-190 will be a par score on this track.
