Employees association demands action against AAP MLAs

New Delhi: The Delhi Government Employees Welfare Association (DGEWA) on Tuesday demanded action against the AAP MLAs who allegedly assaulted Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in the presence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

DGEWA President D.N. Singh said the association met Lt. Governor Anil Baijal regarding the issue.

Singh also said that members of the association would go to office but won't work till action is taken against those who assaulted the bureaucrat.

The Chief Secretary was allegedly assaulted by the ruling party's MLAs during a meeting at Kejriwal's residence on Monday night.
