Will Kareena Kapoor play a cameo in Saif Ali Khan-starrer Chef? Check

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan is working on his upcoming Bollywood project titled 'Chef' and there have been rumours that his better-half Kareena Kapoor Khan would be seen doing a cameo in the movie.

According to the media reports, it has been finally confirmed that Saif's Begum will not be part of his upcoming flick where he would be seen donning the hat of a chef.

'Airlift' fame director Raja Krishna Menon, who is helming the project, has confirmed this saying, "Kareena does not have a cameo in the movie."

Kareena Kapoor, however, had marked a cameo but important appearance in Saif's 'Happy Ending'.

Talking over the project, Saif had recently said, "The film is about a father-son story. It is also about a husband and wife divorce-marriage story. The film is focused on redemption and second chances. So, this realty is a deep film."

It is worth mentioning that Chef is the remake of the 2014 American comedy film of the same name, which starred Jon Favreau, Sofia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr.

The Indian remake of the film is expected to release on July 14, having a box-office clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer 'Jagga Jasoos' and Shraddha Kapoor's 'Haseena'.
