Mumbai: The teaser of Salman Khan's most awaited movie, ‘Bharat’ is finally out. Bhaijaan seems to pursue several professions in the period drama.

In the one-and-a-half minute teaser, Salman is seen doing daredevil stunts as a motorcyclist, a Navy officer and an elderly boxer. The Dabangg actor is seen donning many avatars in the movie.

The teaser describes Bharat as ' the journey of a man and a nation together'. It starts with the visuals of an overcrowded railway station in Pakistan which depicts the heart-wrenching scene of the Partition of India.

In the background plays Salman's voice that says he was named Bharat, after his country, by his father. Therefore, he doesn't give importance to questions about his cast, creed and religion.

The movie seems to be a promising one as it showcases the evolution and struggles of a man alongside a country.

The only thing that made the audience curious was the complete absence of Katrina Kaif in the teaser. She wasn't seen for a single second in the entire teaser, though she plays a major role in the film.

As per the makers of Bharat, "Katrina plays a crucial role in the movie and the film's release is almost 6 months away. So we decided to keep her look and role secret'.will be revealed only in the trailer."

The movie is set to release on Eid 2019.

Bharat also features Tabu, Disha Patani, and Nora Fatehi. Sunil Grover also plays a pivotal role in the movie. The film is an adaptation of the South Korean drama ‘Ode To My Father’.

The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has been co-produced by Atul Agnihotri. The film has been made under Salman Khan Production banner. The period drama is showing different eras spanning from 1947 to 2000.
