New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's web series Tandav is not taking the name of the controversy. On social media too, there is fierce opposition against Tandav. Due to which decision is being taken to remove all those scenes, due to which religious and caste sentiments of all people were being hurt.

Ali Abbas Zafar shared a statement:

Ali released a statement on behalf of the cast and crew on Twitter, in which he wrote - We deeply appreciate the feelings of the people of our country. We did not intend to insult any person, ethnic community, religion and faith or insult any institution, political party or living or dead person.

The cast and crew of Tandav have decided that the parts that have been objected to be replaced. We also thank the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for supporting us and showing direction. We apologize once again if someone is unknowingly hurt by the series.

Tandav’ : Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia in political thriller

Let me tell you, Tandav was released on January 15 on Amazon Prime. Controversy ensued over a scene shown in the first episode of this series in which Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub was symbolically incarnated as Lord Shiva. There were some dialogues in this scene which have been objected to. At the same time, caste comments were also objected to in later episodes.
