Taapsee Pannu reunites with Anurag Kashyap for 'Dobaaraa'; drops teaser

Taapsee Pannu is on a roll these days. With back to back films lined-up, the Pink star has become one of the most sought-after stars in Bollywood. Yesterday, the actress announced the wrap-up for her film Looop Lapeta. And it seems like Taapsee is in no mood to rest as she has announced she's teaming up with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap for the upcoming thriller Dobaaraa. To note, this will be the actor and director duo’s third collaboration after 2018's film Manmarziyaan and biographical drama Saand Ki Aankh, which had Kashyap on board as producer.

The Judwaa 2 star took to her social media handles to announce her next project with Anurag and shared a teaser. In the video, we can see Taapsee sitting on a couch with some notes as she asks Alexa to start a movie that is "something different, little edgy and something that surprises her and has a vibe". Just then, Anurag appears on television and tells the Badla actress that he has come as she wants something edgy. Further, in the video, we see the filmmaker telling the actress let’s make a movie and that he has sent the script to her. When Taapsee quizzed about the name of the film, Kashyap can be head saying, “Dobaaraa.”
While making the big announcement on her Instagram handle, Taapsee wrote, “Some associations ask for a deserving beginning and some deserve to be seen ‘once more’ #DOBAARAA Expectations are bound to be high because this is going to be one of its kind. Time. Space. Universe. 2021 will make you question everything. Filming begins soon! @anuragkashyap10 time to add some lights and colour to your frame again, let’s do it #DOBAARAA.”

On a related note, Dobaaraa is being produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Sunir Kheterpal and Gaurav Bose. The film will start rolling soon.
