Mumbai Police's interrogation of people in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case is still going on. After sending summons to Kangana Ranaut, Mahesh Bhatt has now been called to Bandra Police Station.

Sushant Rajput Case: Mumbai Police records Mahesh Bhatt's statement

Mumbai: Mumbai Police's interrogation of people in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case is still going on. After sending summons to Kangana Ranaut, Mahesh Bhatt has now been called to Bandra Police Station. Due to which Mahesh Bhatt was asked by the Mumbai Police to come to the police station at 12 noon today.

His statement was recorded at Santa Cruz Police Station for about two hours. Along with him, the investigating officer and other teams of the case were present with him here. According to information received from sources, now Mahesh Bhatt has left the station and gone home.

Sushant Rajput Case:

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had said on Sunday that Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar's manager would be questioned in the Sushant Suicide case.

It was later said that Apurva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Production, not Karan's manager, has been called to file a statement. Now that Mahesh Bhatt has been called to the police station, it will have to be seen what he reveals in this case.

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide at his apartment in Mumbai last month, Ranaut had lashed out at nepotism and cartels in Bollywood, alleging that he was its victim.

Deshmukh said that police have so far recorded statements of 37 people in connection with the case.

They include director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, filmmaker and Yash Raj Films (YRF) chairman Aditya Chopra and film critic Rajeev Masand.

Sushant Singh, 34, was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Rajput starred in films such as Shuddh Desi Romance, Raabta, Kedarnath and Sonchiriya.
