Sanjay Dutt embarrasses Ranbir Kapoor for doing "Barfi!"

Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt recently hosted a party at his residence which eventually turned embarrassing for Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, said the sources.

The sources further added, Dutt, after being drunk, poked fun at Ranbir commenting on his choice of movies. It is to be known that Ranbir was amongst those who weren't drinking at the party.

Apart from Ranbir, the party was also joined by Rajkumar Hirani and David Dhawan among others, who partied till wee hours in the morning at Sanju Baba's house.

The fun started when Sanjay told RK junior that he wants to produce a film starring him in the lead role. To this, Ranbir replied, "Of course." Then, with a serious face, Dutt said, "The film would be titled 'Laddoo'." Ranbir repeated the name in surprise, to which Dutt responded, "Yes, subsequently we will make films called Imarti, Jalebi and Peda."

After Dutt's statement, a pin drop silence prevailed there. Soon Dutt exploded saying, "I watched Barfi! on television recently. Why did you chose to do that film? Bloody hell, you are playing me in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. I don’t understand how they cast you."

He went on telling Ranbir Kapoor, "You need be a macho man. Work in macho films. You shouldn’t do films like Barfi!. You need to hold guns and perform actions scenes in your movies. Do you think actors like me, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn would have been in the industry so long, if we had not portrayed macho characters in our films? You don’t have any connection with the audiences and that is a must have in the industry."

Ranbir, however, remained silent keeping his cool and soon the situation was taken under control by Dutt's wife Maanayata. After that everyone went on to have their dinner.

Well, this would surely have come as a shock to Ranbir Kapoor. Let's see if we get to come across any replies from RK Junior over the same in future or not.
